A true marine treasure, both strong and precious, mother-of-pearl is one of the most robust materials on Earth. The yellow embroidery is a tribute to the clothing worn by the courageous Newfoundland fishermen (19th century), when they left Brittany for several months to go fishing off the coast of Canada in extreme conditions. This color made it easier to spot a man who had fallen into the sea. They largely contributed to the development of the sea clothing that we wear today.

The mother-of-pearl and embroidery are directly applied by hand in our workshop in Brittany. They perfectly embody the DNA of our clothes.
